Again, the big problem is that Aldini showed up in this arc.
For example, Aldini publicly supports Azami, but privately, unbeknownst to Central, is part of the counter-revolution. It would be a twist if Aldini is in the Elite Ten that is for certain, but it is a possibly justifiable one. It would be hilarious if Aldini is brought in - and indeed, if the brothers did not show up in this arc in support of the PSD, I would have speculated that Aldini has been won over to Azami's side.
The downside with this theory? Mimasaka helped out in Soma's stall during the Full Moon Banquet. Of course, it could turn out that Eizan nor Central knows this, so Azami chooses him, and unwittingly brings in an ally of Soma. But, Soma "reformed" him.His style fits the ideals of Central though. I am not sure about Mimasaka, he was a protege of Eizan, probably is an ideal foot-soldier of Central, and his talents are well suited to slaughter Research Societies and stomp lesser chefs. But if Alice does not support Azami, neither does Ryou. But on the other hand, Ryou is a joint-runner up of the Autumn Elections, and it is possible that Ryou could be included in the Elite Ten and Alice is not - as an injury to Alice pride, and an attempt to trigger a rift between them to neutralize the couple (which we know probably would fail eventually). What about Ryou? On one hand, Ryou and Alice are a package - if Alice is in, Ryou might be in. On the other hand, Alice is technically family and living in the mansion, and I am not sure whether she could openly go against her Uncle. Alice Nakiri is a maybe - on one hand, Alice is not an Azami supporter. We can probably eliminate Hisako straight away, given how Azami treated her. Let start with the Nakiris and their retainers in the 92nd Generation. I'll focus on the quarter-finalists of the Autumn Elections, for possible candidates. Were Azami to pick a student from the 92nd, it is likely going to be a character we already know of, from the Autumn Elections, or one of the characters in earlier arcs. Logically, the autumn election is the last real opportunity to showcase the best of the 92nd Generation. What would be an asspull, however, would be another round of Mimasakas - amazing 92nd Generation Students, who we did not hear off in the Autumn Elections, or even before this arc.īut I don't think the author of Shokugeki is that stupid. Does it sound like an asspull? It depends on how it is presented, but I think not - the Second and Third years are still a mystery, in the way that the first are not. This is a possible pool of talent, that Azami could draw on, and a possible source of support for Azami's "reforms". This might mean that we have top level chefs, the Aldinis, Megumis or even Alices of their year, in the Second and Third Years, that we do not yet know of, who failed to enter the Elite Ten, or were in the Elite Ten in the past, and was displaced. Remember, the top Eight or ten chefs in any generation, does not necessarily translate to a seat in the Elite Ten. Two: Azami chooses students we know from the 92nd Generation. One: Azami chooses students from the 90th and 91st Generation. There are two options that are not mutually exclusive. Who are the ones that Azami would choose to fill in the three missing seats? What is the criterion Azami would choose new seats? Loyalty and support of his reforms is one, but sufficient ability also has to be another. Now, the discussion has to turn to how Erina would respond to the reveal in the long run Now, we will see further progress on the Erina front. Chapter 151: I am very glad the Mangaka did not go Nisekoi retarded and voided the reveal, but choose to go all the way with it.
